 | STORY DESCRIPTION Richard and Sarah Ridley had enjoyed a wonderful life together for the most part after marrying young against resistance from both families. That was not to say, though, that it has been perfect. The marriage had experienced the same ups and downs as most marriages they supposed, but overall they had no complaints despite some serious challenges along the way.
But when Sarah lost a baby that they had been trying for many years, it almost split them apart for good. However, a good therapist and a very supportive husband gave Sarah the strength and will to go on. As part of her recovery the therapist suggested they get away to their vacation cabin in the mountains to try and help Sarah remember how good life had been prior to the tragedy.
The trip seemed a good idea initially, but soon this series of nightmares began to disrupt her sleep. However, to add to the mystery they became utterly baffled and confounded to explain how both she and Richard were having the exact same dreams night after night. As each night's version got more worrisome they decided it was time to leave.
But soon the nightmares got to be more dangerous and threatening than just giving them a bad feeling during sleep. As Richard and Sarah puzzle over whether or not this is even possible, the nightmares take an inexplicable and irrational turn. Come along and see if it is for real or have they just let their collective imaginations made them believe something that is not there based on the trauma of losing the baby...
| Author information: Craig grew up in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in central Virginia??"the "real Virginia"??"and migrated by circumstance into a career in molecular biology research. His natural love of animals never left him through the years and you will find this influence in most all of his writing now. His writing efforts evolved later in life fueled by a strong desire for creativity with ideas often originating from dreams. Unlike many other authors, Craig does not seem to focus in a particular genre, but writes in a variety of areas as new ideas present themselves. Besides basic animal themes, you will find his writing touching on the spiritual, magical, and supernatural at times.
Craig lives Tulum, Mexico now with a very demanding wiener dog, Maddie.
