When he opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was the warmth of sunlight filtering through golden leaves. The second was the sound of a brook nearby, its water humming an unfamiliar melody. He sat up, his head pounding, and realized he was in a dense forest unlike anything he had ever seen. The trees stood tall and gleamed as though their bark was made of polished bronze. The air was filled with a faint, sweet aroma that made him momentarily forget his confusion.



"What... happened?" he muttered, clutching his head.



Before he could gather his thoughts, a sharp rustling came from the bushes. A figure emerged-a woman clad in armor that shimmered like starlight, her raven-black hair flowing behind her. Her piercing green eyes locked onto him.



"There you are," she said, her voice both commanding and melodic. She raised a bow, a glowing arrow already nocked. "I won't let you escape this time!"
