Delightful, depressing, delicious, desirable, fulfilling. This short
story took me through a range of feelings, emotions and desires. I
felt for Liam, I was hopeful for Liam and I was cheering for Liam.
Then seeing him reach paradise was the final release for him and self
realisation. Eloquently written piece by the author, thank you for the
journey. 5 out of 5 (BeTrue)

Playback, Jury of the Heart, Review by Kris Ashton (Andromeda Spaceways Magazine Issue #70)
This is a curious novella indeed, one that is almost impossible to classify. It has numerous erotic scenes, but it is not strictly erotica. It uses soft sci-fi trappings, but they are incidental and could be deleted or replaced without harming the storyline. And while at its core Playback, Jury of the Heart is an everyday story about recovering from a broken heart, author Ivory Snow uses off-kilter dialogue and descriptions to imbue it with a disconcerting sheen of otherworldliness...
The narrative becomes tauter as the story develops, and the reader empathises with Liam as he goes on his unconventional journey to seek happiness. The ending, which is foreshadowed in the first chapter, does not disappoint... a very satisfying read...

(Andromeda Spaceways Magazine Issue #70)
Playback, Jury of the Heart is playful, earnest, ironic, intimate, bittersweet, surreal and most inventive. Love the way the author inverses power relationships (bruises as big as grapefruit, though stretch the imagination, but convey the bile and bitterness), and does sex well. It's a gift. Not many writers achieve this. The dialogue is perfect: honed and clipped. Character and place names are witty and most enticing. The use of colour is unusual, and so exciting to this reader. More, please! (Dominique Hecq)
